Milan have not had the easiest of seasons.
With a new coach, new players and new stadium to build and they are just three points off the top of the Serie A table, it would be a big relief if they can stay in the top four.
There is still the daunting task of a Champions League final, though, and they have only played once in that competition.
“It doesnt matter what happened at the weekend, weve still got to go and play against Fiorentina,” said Milan striker Marco Verratti, who scored twice against Napoli last weekend.
“Were still here.
Weve been waiting for a while.
We cant stop dreaming, but we cant stop winning.”
Verrati added: “We’ve been here before.
We dont have a plan, we dont have goals. “
Theres no one who has beaten us.
We dont have a plan, we dont have goals.
We just try to make our opponents look bad and that’s it.”
The Bianconeri’s hopes are still high after beating Udinese 3-1 on Saturday.
“I dont think were going to lose this game, but its very difficult for us,” Verratt said.
They have to do better than that. “
Theyre disappointed in themselves because weve lost so many points already.
That’s the only way we can keep going.”
