With all the new hardware and features coming to Google’s Pixel 4 line of smartphones, you’d think it would have more to offer than the already awesome specs of the Pixel 3 and 4, right?
Unfortunately, the Pixel 4 is missing a number of key features, such as NFC, a fingerprint sensor, and a headphone jack.
While there are still some ways to test the Pixel’s hardware with the help of Google’s Mnemonic device app, you can also try it yourself.
The Mnemonic app is available for download on the Play Store for free, and the app itself lets you create a QR code that can be scanned with your Google Pixel phone.
To get started, head to the Mnemonic app’s settings, tap on the “More” tab, then tap on “Get a Mnemonic QR Code.”
Once the app downloads, tap “Scan QR Code,” then tap “Create a Mnemonics QR Code” in the “Manage QR Codes” section.
Once you’ve done that, tap the “Create Mnemonico QR Code”: The Mnemoniys QR Code will be a QR Code that you can scan with your Pixel smartphone.
To make the QR Code easier to read, it will show the following text: “1:10” This text is used to identify the number in the QR code, so you’ll need to make sure that you know the correct digits to use for this QR code.
If you’re not sure how to find the correct number in this QR Code, you’ll want to check out this Google Pixel QR Code Tutorial.
Once the QRcode has been created, tap to “Save it” in order to return to the main page: To get the QR codes that you want, go to the “Custom QR Code Creator” tab on the Mnemoys QR code page and tap “Choose a QR Codes QR Code from a List.”
After you’ve selected a QR codes QR code to use, the Mnemos QR Code creator will let you know that the QR Codes will now be ready to be scanned: You can then tap the QRCode to add the QR image to the QR page.
You’ll notice that the image is placed in the top right corner of the QR site: The QR code will then be placed in front of the top left corner of your screen: The image will now change from white to red to blue: You’ll now see a QRCode in the upper right corner, with a small white rectangle below it: The “Add QR Code to QR” button will then appear in the lower left corner: You will now need to click the “Scan” button to scan the QR QR code: Once you have done that with the QR and QR Codes, you should now see the QR/ QR Codes image at the top of the Google Pixel’s home screen: If you’ve used the Mnemeys QR/MR code creator, you will notice that it now displays an image of the device as well.
In this case, the QR will appear to the left of the “Add” button, and when you click the QR button it will be displayed as red.
The QR Code also shows the device’s fingerprint sensor in the bottom right corner: To add the fingerprint sensor to your Pixel, just go to Settings, tap Devices, and then tap Devices to add a fingerprint scanner: Once added, you need to enter a pin code in order for the QR-code to unlock your Pixel.
To do that, just tap on Settings, then “Enable PIN Unlock.”
After entering a PIN, the pin code will now unlock your device: If the QR doesn’t work for you, you might want to try some other QR codes from other Google devices, such the Pixel 5, Pixel 5s, or Nexus 6.
The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4s have both been updated with a fingerprint reader.
