Amazon is looking to sell a smart speaker for people with cancer.
It’s one of many potential uses for the Echo that could come from the company’s foray into the medical market.
Amazon has also been making a push into medical devices, with a $300 device it’s launching in the US that will detect and measure blood pressure, heart rate and respiration.
And the company also announced that it plans to develop a device that will allow for the rapid diagnosis of cancer, something that has yet to be done with the voice of a voice assistant.
But Amazon has also had its share of controversies surrounding the Echo, with several reports claiming it was causing people to panic.
